Comment by PapaLazzzaru — 7 Nov 2005 on 1:19 pm | LinkThe old Death by PowerPoint routine. It’s necessary to do this as the vast majority of the Cabinet are only semi-literate and have the attention span of a fruit fly. I hope Jack was given a bouquet after the all singing all dancing show.
But as always, a 20 minute presentation can only just cover the superficialities. And it’s probably on the basis of this cursory look that all policy decisions are made - including invasions, ASBOs, Police Powers, Education, Health, etc.
You can bet they spend a great deal more time and effort scrutinising the latest proposals for their remunerations.
