Downing Street Says

Asked whether the Prime Minister feared that any replacement for Trident might counter our commitments under the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons Treaty, the PMOS said there was a review going on regarding the issue, and he was not going to get ahead of it.

Nice to know that the public have some say on it. After all, we don’t have a network of hardened bunkers, radiation early warning systems, and plane flights out of here to safe destinations when this policy leads to a problem that leaves us all cooked.
