Pity it won't happen.  Many MPs are a huge beneficiaries from the two + homes expenses scheme.  I vaguely recall one MP was said to rent out his union flat, own a house and live in a grace-and-favour to boot.  Perhaps I imagined that?</description>

		<description>Why doesn't the chancellor just introduce a tax on second homes (and third, fourth etc)? That would soon free up the unused and partially used stock of housing in this country, increase supply and drop housing prices so that people could afford to buy houses without Government help.</description>
