Asked what determined the title that Camilla Parker Bowles would have once Prince Charles succeeded to the throne the Prime Minister’s Official Spokesman (PMOS) said that the position at the moment was limited as to what her title would be upon marriage. That was the situation at present. In terms of any future events people should wait until such events arose. Asked if it was correct that at the moment on Prince Charles succession to the throne that Camilla would become Queen unless there was legislation to prevent it the PMOS said people should speak to DCA about the detail.
