David Hill

Asked if the Prime Minister agreed with David Hill’s alleged comments about the French airport disaster as reported in the press the PMOS told journalists that David had explained in his statement to the Daily Mail that his comment had been flippant and that this was where the matter should be left. Asked if David Hill would be apologising to the families of those who had died the PMOS said that as David had said in his statement as anyone who knows him would recognise that the last thing he would want was to cause offence to anyone. That was not his intention.

  2. Why, of course it points out clearly the flaw in the French transport system; after you crawl out of the rubble in the crumbling airport, you’ll be in central Paris in less time than it takes you to cross the single mile of central London from one edge of the mile to the other.

And at a cheaper price, to boot.
