« Evening Standard | Back to most recent briefing | Miscellaneous »
Asked if the Prime Minister had received a letter from the Indian Prime Minister complaining about David Miliband s behaviour on his recent trip to India, the Prime Minister s Spokesman (PMS) said that we had not received a letter from the Indian government and they had made clear to us, and publicly, that they did not intend on sending such a letter.
Asked if there had been any form of protest through diplomatic channels, the PMS said that the Foreign Office had been making the position clear; we had a good relationship with India and would continue to do so.
